MISSION
+To promote the complete development of the child, thanks to various exercises and games.
+To develop the language skills of the child in Armenian and in French.
+ To develop the child’s self-confidence and social relationships.
+ To respect the child’s needs according to his/her individual abilities.
+ To contribute towards the child’s smooth transition from the family environment to the nursery school.
+ To meet the needs of parents.
HISTORY
The daycare was launched in October 2007 under the same roof as the Sourp Hagop School. The daycare follows all the regulations set by the Quebec Ministry of Families and all the rules concerning the child’s comfort, security and health.
ACTIVITIES
Based on conditions set by the government, the daycare accommodates 80 children by distributing them as follows:
- 8 children from 0 to 18 months old
- 72 children from 18 months to 3 years old
The daycare has a principal and 11 educators. The majority of educators must have a diploma in Education studies from a college.
The daycare is open from Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
